After many years of working structly in digital format I got backto acrylics in 2016. There are still elements of architecture in some works but mostly an exploration of abstract structures. Here again the style is deliberately rough and dynamic. Some works are made of acrylics only while others combine collage, acrylic paint, acrylic ink, wax pens and alcohol based pgments.

Reflection over Time
A formerly unused building in my neighborhood now converted into flats. This view combines the former structure of the façade with the reflected windows of its current aspect. Also planned as a digital photographic collage, this piece was directly executed in acrylic on canvas. It still follows my usual approach of colliding perspectives and transparencies.

A Day in the Life
All these scary headlines came from a single edition of the New York Times, which isn't even the worst offender in selling us panic and anxiety. Just as the song "A day in the life" goes, "and though the news was rather sad, I just had to laugh", which is maybe the best medicine there is.Newspaper, acrylic paint and acrylic ink on paper
